I was in the middle of cleaning my room when I realized that the case for mechanical pencil lead reminds me of the 3D maneuver gear from Shingeki no Kyojin.
10 minutes later, Shingeki no Danbo happened.
This has been my shortest shoot so far. It usually takes me several hours to turn a concept into an almost satisfactory picture. There's a stash of images in my hard drive just begging to be shot again with more refinements.
Most of the stuff used here was pretty basic (wire, string, mechanical pencil lead, keyboard), but those puny mechanical pencils from Mongol seem to be collector's items now. It's been years since I last saw those being sold at book stores.
