Another round at Quiapo

Practiced photography at Quiapo (again) while waiting for the technicians to fix my camera flash (again).

An hour and a half for a flash

Killed some time at Quiapo while the camera technicians fixed my external flash unit. 1.5 hours is a bit of a wait, but it's a hell of a lot more convenient than the alternative (i.e. have the official local distributor send the unit to Japan to be serviced by the manufacturer).

Handsome Street
Ugly people are not allowed!!

I suppose street photography isn't always about trying to suggest sublime bullshit with pictures.

1st Manila Shutterbugs Photowalk

Just came back from the first Manila Shutterbugs Photowalk. Below are some of the images I captured as our group wandered through Intramuros and a bit of Binondo.

Number 9 is pretty, but the 1ー2 combo is my favorite. The first shows a man smiling at his kids; the second shows him, arms raised and wearing an AWESOME SHIRT. It's a two-panel story.

Sidenote:
Incidentally, I had unexpectedly been relieved of my wallet at SM Mall of Asia during the trip. (translation: Putang ina, nawala yung pitaka ko.)
